Environmental consciousness

Earth Babies values practices that are good for the earth. This means we are always looking for ways to reduce our carbon footprint (as a business and in our personal lives) but like most people this is a process.

We try to reuse all the packaging materials we can. If you get a package with bubble wrap in it, rest assured that came from some other packaging we received and instead of throwing it away we are reusing it. When we can't reuse we use products that are recycled or biodegradable whenever we can. USPS is our delivery method of choice because they are likely already going to your house whether we ship something to you or not. We also deliver to local customers and businesses to save on packaging.

We are researching companies that make fabrics from bamboo and organic cottons, and designing and creating our own fabrics. We also seek out vendors that are local to us. Our labels are 100% organic cotton and produced by a local company. And our blankets and burp cloths are sewn by a local company.

We care about the earth and mending the relationship humans have with it. So as in our daily lives we are looking for ways to reconcile.
